Launch
Treeverse started with a generative art project called NFTrees, founded in 2021 by Loopify, a famous NFT creator and collector. These NFTs were the springboard for what is now known as Treeverse. Treeverse was successfully funded after its founder’s sale, and they were sold on February 1st in four lots of 105 for 0.2 ETH each.
In an hour, over 10,000 land plots were purchased by buyers. Founders Plots allows owners to possess a private residence, which they may decorate and alter to suit their preferences. Players may eventually merge multiple Founders Plots to create a more prominent area later in growth.
Treeverse already has a thriving social environment, with users establishing in-game relationships that translate into out-of-game collaborations. This game, in many ways, competes with other avatar realms like Decentraland and Voxels. Treeverse has an advantage in accessibility because of its 2D graphics and focuses on mobile development.
They’re confident that you’ll see all of the DJs, art events, and parties that other virtual worlds are already hosting once users can personalize their private homes and add NFT images from external sources. Later this year, the game will be available to the public.
How to Play the Game
You own the possessions you earn time grinding for on the Arboros continent. Enter the realm of mythical creatures surrounded by Jovians and Sidhe by starting your adventure in Elderwall, guarded by the World Tree. Forge primitive energy weapons and battle bosses to prove your strength.
NPCs will give you quests, each with its narrative. You may build your fantasy home on your piece of land and open it up to all explorers, or you may keep it closed to only those you know or join.
Economy
Treeverse’s economy is unique to the company. Two distinct ERC-20 tokens are used in the game, and the economy comprises them.
- $SEED: The token is used to purchase goods, pay rent on a plot, and grow the characters in the game.
- $ROOT: This is the primary token in Treeverse. It is utilized to vote on upcoming gameplay moves or choices.
Roadmap
The Treeverse team has ideas for pets, NPCs, an in-game market, seasonal events, and more! Yet they are focused on establishing a solid social structure. Treeverse will likely employ a side-chain option in the future, especially if there are multiple blockchain transactions.
The Alpha team has addressed bugs and issues encountered while playing the game. To enhance the players’ experience with NFTs and, as a consequence, minimize the quantity of NFTs in the game, the team is also making every effort possible.
