What is Voxels?
Ben Nolan of Nolan Consulting is behind the Voxels project, which was launched on April 1, 2018. The project aims to create a metaverse on the internet using Ethereum. They discovered the virtual world’s potential possibilities, where land ownership was stored on the Ethereum blockchain (through the ERC721 token) by drawing inspiration from prior SceneVR and A-FrameVR works.
In 2018, the Voxels project was opened to a select group of users. The creator’s associates and advisers were the first to sell a property. The property parcels were made available to early adopters via Opensea in June 2018. In July 2018, the developers removed the beta key and launched a public auction for all of the land.
Voxels still have a lot of space to grow since there are 7,355 land parcels on the Ethereum blockchain. By the end of 2022, the company aims to have 15% of the world’s population live.
What are the Benefits of Voxels?
Voxels lets you experience all your content in a new way, from playing your favorite music to watching your favorite video. Their advanced technology lets you embed any media on your land parcel. Not only that, but you can also sell and rent your land to others or build on it yourself. You may also generate your avatar, develop stores, and various other things that come to mind.
Gameplay Features
When you enter the metaverse, options will be under your account settings.
Purchase your parcel and build on available parcels; use a free editable non-grid space and sell or purchase in the marketplace.
Voxels Builder
In Voxels, land property owners may develop on their land. Owners may add and remove voxels (blocks) and additional features on their parcels. Make your property a sandbox smaller so that anybody may construct on it.
Marketplace
Ethereum (Ether) is the currency used to purchase assets through Opensea. You can buy assorted NFTs in the marketplace – digital land parcels, wooden swords, naked butts, Black Fractal arms, wearables, art pieces, cryptohoodies, and many more.
How to Play
You need to download and install Metamask on your Chrome browser to join the game. Once installed, go to their website and register. Once registered, you can create your avatar and start at the origin city map’s center.
