Fans can get “digital and physical” Adidas products and experiences with the new Into The MetaverseNFT initiative from Adidas. In addition, Adidas Originals’ first NFT collection has been officially unveiled, signaling its entrance into the Metaverse.
Adidas made its first NFT drop, which contains Bored Ape Yacht Club, money, and the PUNKS comic team, in collaboration with Web3. The Adidas NFTs, known as Into the Metaverse, were dropped on December 17. However, users will have custom access to several Adidas Originals experiences and products after purchase. For example, in the blockchain-based gaming universe, The Sandbox, owners may use NFTs to get into in-virtual land experiences and free collaborative goods.
Each NFT costs 0.2 ETH or about $800 in American dollars. In addition, Adidas and streetwear fans can engage with their followers in a whole new way by visiting the Metaverse, which offers unique drops.
Adidas sold out of 30,000 Into the Metaverse NFTs less than a day after they went on sale. At the beginning of 2022, the NFT holders will have free access to four unique physical items as a consequence. In addition, the holders will be able to participate in virtual events in the Metaverse.

Updates on the Adidas’ Into The Metaverse
According to an Adidas announcement via its official Twitter account, the team is still working on a plan for its Into the Metaverse NFT initiative. Five parts of the update addressed Adidas’ physical product redemption plan and Phase 2 of the ITM (Into The Metaverse) token.
Holders of IFT NFT may order one physical item from Adidas by connecting their wallets. The original token will be destroyed, and a Phase 2 Into the Metaverse ERC-1155 NFT will be created in its place. Each token redemption will cost a gas fee, and there will be no rush to redeem. The update ended with a promise of a complete roadmap in the future.
