What is Azuki
Chiru Labs, a start-up founded by artists and engineers in Los Angeles, has created a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) called Azuki. Each represents a digital avatar allowing holders to join The Garden, an online community.
Due to their anime-themed design, these avatars have distinct features that appeal to NFT fans all around the globe—as members of The Garden, owning an Azuki gives them access to unique NFT drops and streetwear collaborations, live events, and more. According to the developers, this area is a corner of the internet where creators, builders, and web3 enthusiasts gather to construct a decentralized future.
Several Azukies have swords, a cup of coffee, a skateboard, or a Boombox; some are dressed in more traditional clothing. By granting NFT owners a non-exclusive right to commercial use for their individual Azuki’s, Akiy followed the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s strategy; for example, you may sell your Azuki on products sold via an internet store.
How Azuki Works?
There are 10,000 Azuki NFT avatars in the Azuki NFT collection. Every Azuki look is determined by a total of 13 trait groups and 469 traits. Azuki’s with rarer characteristics are usually more valuable because specific features are uncommon.
Human, Blue, Red, and Spirit Azuki’s are examples of four different types. Azuki is a Human race with more than 9,000 members. They command substantially greater prices since there are only 97 Spirits or less than 1% of the whole collection. On the Ethereum blockchain, Azuki NFTs are minted. On NFT marketplaces, they’re purchased and sold with ETH, and they’re kept in NFT wallets.
Buying Azuki NFTs?
The two most popular choices for purchasing from the Azuki collection are LooksRare and OpenSea. Remember to link your self-custody wallet, such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any other options available if you want to utilize OpenSea.
Once you’ve connected your wallet, you’ll need to locate the official collection (type in “Azuki” and press the blue checkmark on it). It’s easy to find an NFT you want to purchase and click on it. Is Azuki a Good Investment?
Since NFT prices are highly volatile and can move significantly in either direction, there is no clear answer. Azuki, on the other hand, maybe a good option if you’re looking for an investment with the potential to grow over time. The claim is that buying an Azuki NFT will give you unique benefits in the future as the collection grows in popularity. Another airdrop, for example, may give you one or more free NFTs from a fresh collection performed by the Azuki team.
They’re both possibilities, but they aren’t guaranteed. If Azuki becomes more popular, people might move on to the following collection with cool designs. An airdrop might provide you with free NFTs, but subsequent collections by the Azuki team will not be successful simply because one was.
